Jackson Browne has announced additional dates with his full band for this summer. The schedule follows an earlier acoustic concert run in the South during March and April. Tickets are on sale here.
In June, Browne will do a brief residency with his full band at New York’s Beacon Theatre. Special guests for the NYC dates and several others are Lucius, who are fronted by Jess Wolfe and Holly Laessig. Browne will be joined by longtime bandmates and vocalists Alethea Mills and Chavonne Stewart, and multi-instrumentalist Greg Leisz. Multi-instrumentalists Peter Lalish and Dan Molad round out the group. (Wolfe and Laessig performed as part of Roger Waters’ band for his 2017-2018 Us + Them tour.)
“I had sung a little with Jess and Holly, and I was enchanted by them and by their unique singing. But I was amazed to discover the depth and the originality of this band. Their songs and their arrangements, their huge dynamics – they just blew me away.
Browne’s full band features Bob Glaub (bass), Mauricio Lewak (drums), Val McCallum (guitar), Mills and Stewart (vocals), Jeff Young (keyboards, vocals), and Leisz (guitar, lap steel, pedal steel).

Browne is known for his laid-back vibe, which helped set the tone for much of the music that came out of California in the ’70s. It was during this time that Browne co-wrote “Take it Easy” with Glenn Frey, which would go on to become the first hit song for the Eagles.
The singer-songwriter has also written such classic rock songs as “Running on Empty,” “The Pretender” and “Doctor My Eyes.” He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004.
