Hey you!

Eagle Rock Entertainment will release Iggy Pop’s Post Pop Depression: Live At The Royal Albert Hall on DVD/2-CD and digital formats on October 28. This film and album capture Iggy at the prestigious London venue in May 2016. Featured tracks are culled primarily from Pop’s The Idiot, Lust for Life (his two 1977 David Bowie collaborations) and Post Pop Depression, the latter a collaboration with co-writer/producer Joshua Homme (from Queens of the Stone Age), released this year. The setlist includes “The Passenger,” “Lust for Life,” “Sister Midnight,” “Gardenia,” “China Girl,” “Nightclubbing,” “Success,” “Tonight” and more.

Iggy’s backing band for the show included Joshua Homme, Dean Fertita and Troy Van Leeuwen from Queens of the Stone Age, Matt Helders from the Arctic Monkeys and guitarist Matt Sweeney. Pre-order is available here.

This has been a bountiful year for fans of the Ig. In August came the announcement of a new book, Total Chaos: The Story of The Stooges/As Told by Iggy Pop, which is set for publication in November.

Earlier this year, Gimme Danger, the highly anticipated documentary film about Iggy Pop and the Stooges by noted director Jim Jarmusch, had its world premiere at a midnight screening at the Cannes Film Festival.
