It’s been three quick months since The Who performed a series of U.K concerts. They’ve resumed touring with the first of many North and South American dates on Thursday night (July 13) at Festival d’été de Québec.
They’ve got five more U.S. dates in July leading up to their Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. (Those performances are spread out over two weeks). Tickets for all U.S. dates are on sale here and here.
The band’s 23-song set in Québec had no real surprises with four songs each from classic rock favorites Who’s Next and Quadrophenia, and a half dozen from Tommy. The performance started with many of their early hits (plus 1978’s “Who Are You.”) (See complete setlist below.)

In early February, Who manager Bill Curbishley revealed that the group would tour South America for the first time, plus new North American dates. “I still can’t believe it—but we’re gonna go down for the first time ever to South America.”
