McCartney Joined On Metlife Stage By Springsteen, JBJ at Last U.S. Show of 2022 Tour
by Best Classic Bands StaffPaul McCartney closed the 2022 U.S. edition of his “Got Back” tour on June 16 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., with the Garden State’s most prominent classic rock native sons. As McCartney finished performing “Band on the Run,” he welcomed Bruce Springsteen to the stage. “We got a special surprise for you,” McCartney said. “A friend of mine, he’s a local boy. I think you guessed it! I said you got to come and sing with us!”
“Here’s to 80 more years of glory days!” the Boss retorted, arriving with a guitar slung over his shoulder. The pair performed Springsteen’s “Glory Days” and the Beatles’ “I Wanna Be Your Man.” Later, Sir Paul was joined by Jon Bon Jovi, who led the audience in singing “Happy Birthday” to the legend, who turned 80 two days later. Watch the performances below.
On this Thursday night, McCartney breezed though his vast catalog of Beatles, Wings and solo hits. After the band performed “Band on the Run,” McCartney invited his friend, Bruce, to the stage.

Jump into a conversationPaul moves like same young man as beatle, when he plays, still sings great, makes aging appear youthful, still brings the joy to me all these yrs later…if only George and John were still here to see all four play together..bless him and them for blessing us!
LOVE PAUL! I was a die hard Beatles fan back in the ’60’s & until they disbanded. Further, I was a die hard fan of each individual Beatle when they went Solo, so proud of George & Ringo coming out as great performers. Paul & John were my favorites. GREAT collaborating pair of the 2 writers/performers. Paul rocks & I wish he stay with us for many, many more years! LEGEND!
