Jeff Lynne Announces 2019 ELO Dates

On October 20, he began teasing “Where will the ship land?” on his social media platforms. On Oct. 22, Jeff Lynne announced 20 North American dates in 2019 for what’s been billed for several years now as Jeff Lynne’s ELO. And it’s a relief for his fans on this side of the Atlantic, many of whom were bypassed when his first North American tour since 1981 consisted of just 12 dates in August.

Fans can expect a set of classic rock crowd pleasers: “Evil Woman,” “Telephone Line,” “Don’t Bring Me Down” and “Sweet Talkin’ Woman,” among them.

The tour, produced by Live Nation, begins June 20 and concludes on August 1. Only four of the cities on the new itinerary were also on their 2018 schedule.

Tickets to the general public will be available beginning Monday, October 29 at 10 a.m. at Ticketmaster.com and here.
