Iron Maiden have opened the North America leg of the 2022 edition of their Legacy of the Beast world tour. The first show, on Sept. 11 in El Paso, Tex., included one of the first live performances of their recent studio album, Senjutsu, with songs such as the title track and “The Writing on the Wall” along with a decades-spanning set list of fan favorites like “The Trooper,” “Run to the Hills,” “Fear of the Dark” and “The Number of the Beast.” The original Dec. 1, 2021, tour announcement noted that the show has already been seen by almost two million people across the globe. The tour is produced by Live Nation.

Sharing opening acts honors are Trivium and Within Temptation. See the setlist and itinerary below.

The tour announcement added, “You can be sure that we will still be featuring all the hits and the key elements of the original tour like the Spitfire, Icarus, Hell, flamethrowers and pyro and the rest – but we will shake it up a bit and Trooper Eddie will have serious competition in the new Senjutsu ‘world’ we are adding.”

Vocalist Bruce Dickinson adds, “We’re really looking forward to get to cities we’ve not played for many years. I’m really excited about the new additions and changes to the stage production and we can’t wait for everyone to see what we’ve got planned.”
