This screen cap from the Foo Fighters video announcement says it all
That sound you hear is a deep collective sigh of relief.
It comes in the wake of a post that appeared early Wednesday morning (March 2) on the Foo Fighters Facebook page:”Official band announcement tomorrow night. Stay tuned.”
Media outlets speculated that the band was calling it quits or taking a hiatus. Even drummer Taylor Hawkins confirmed in January what Dave Grohl hinted at in a communique that accompanied the release of the band’s St. Cecilia EP in late November: Foo Fighters are going on hiatus.
Not so! At around 10:45 pm ET, the band released a documentary-style video that makes fun of all the rumors.
