Eric Clapton has announced the 2026 edition of the Crossroads Guitar Festival. The two-day event, the seventh such festival, takes place September 26-27 in Austin, Texas at Moody Center. It’s being held in celebration of the 28th anniversary of the 1998 founding of the Crossroads Centre Antigua. The event will feature main stage concerts and multi-artist collaborations by some of the best guitarists in the world from across multiple musical genres. Among those making their Crossroads debuts are Pete Townshend, Trey Anastasio, and Tommy Emmanuel. Returning veterans include Joe Bonamassa, Gary Clark Jr., Billy Gibbons, Buddy Guy, John Mayer, and Tedeschi Trucks Band. As in past Festivals, Clapton will perform both nights; some artists will perform only one night. The news was announced on Clapton’s 81st birthday, March 30. Tickets for the Festival will go on sale April 3 at 10 a.m. local time. The pair of dates as well as other Clapton concerts are available here.

Other performers announced include Taj Mahal, Marcus King, Sonny Landreth, John McLaughlin, Keb’ Mo’ and Jimmie Vaughan.

Founded in 1998, the Crossroads Centre Antigua was created to provide treatment and education to chemically and alcohol dependent persons, their families and their significant others. Treatment is provided through residential care, family and aftercare programs. The pathway to recovery is founded on the 12 steps and a change in lifestyle. The Crossroads Centre Antigua also operates a halfway house in Antigua called Bevon House and facilitates various ongoing recovery initiatives on the island of Antigua and in the Caribbean.
