ET-CrossroadsEric Clapton’s much-anticipated 23rd studio album, I Still Do, was released on May 20, and already Slowhand has something new for us to look forward to. On July 1st, Rhino will be putting out a collection of over four hours of never-before released live music from the Crossroads Guitar Festivals over the years. Fans can now relive some of those magical live music moments with some of their favorite classic rock artists with this collection.

Crossroads Revisited: Selections from the Crossroads Guitar Festival is a 3-CD set as well as available as a digital download. Boasting 41 live tracks, the collection includes a selection of landmark performances from all four Crossroads Guitar Festivals, which were held in 2004, 2007, 2010 and 2013. A bona fide “Who’s Who” of guitar music can be heard on this set, including Clapton, Jeff Beck, Gary Clark Jr., Robert Cray, Billy F Gibbons, Vince Gill, Buddy Guy, B.B. King, John Mayer, Carlos Santana, Joe Walsh, Ronnie Wood and Jimmie Vaughn, just to name a few.

Captivating performances by Clapton are featured throughout the set, including his cover of George Harrison’s “Isn’t It A Pity” and a smoking electric version of “Layla.” But it’s his onstage collaborations that really shine, like playing “After Midnight” with J.J. Cale and Blind Faith’s “Presence Of The Lord” with Steve Winwood. Also among the highlights: “Paying The Cost To Be The Boss” with B.B. King, Robert Cray, Jimmie Vaughn and Hubert Sumlin; “Five Long Years” with Buddy Guy, Ronnie Wood and Jonny Lang; and “Steamroller” with James Taylor and Joe Walsh.

In 1998, Clapton established the Crossroads Centre in Antigua to help others overcome their addictions to drugs and alcohol and is active in its management oversight and fundraising to present day. The Crossroads Guitar Festival is an event organized by Clapton and held every three years  to raise funds for the facility.
