ZZ Top have announced many more concerts for their extensive 2026 “The Big One” tour, with dates in the U.S. and Europe. The Dec. 9 announcement followed the news that Billy F Gibbons, Elwood Francis and Frank Beard are joining forces with Dwight Yoakam for 15 dates of a run dubbed the “Dos Amigos” tour. That pairing brings together decades of chart-topping hits and signature sounds for a series of shows across the Midwest, South, and East launching March 26 and running through May 23. The European tour sees the celebrated “Little Ol’ Band From Texas” playing 23 dates in 13 countries over the course of a five-week run in June and July. The Dec. 9 news revealed another 19 shows throughout the U.S. Tickets are available here.

In addition, Gibbons, who’ll turn 76 on Dec. 16, 2025, has set a string of tour dates in the first quarter of 2026 for his ongoing solo project Billy F Gibbons and the BFG Band. With Gibbons on guitar and vocals, the group also includes fellow Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Chris “Whipper” Layton (Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble) on drums and Austin legend Mike “The Drifter” Flanigin on Hammond organ, bass and backing vocals.

The band’s recordings are available in the U.S./worldwide here, in Canada here and in the U.K. here.

Billy Gibbons Band is also listed as a headliner band at the annual Rory Gallagher International Music Festival in Ballyshannon Ireland in late May 2026!
