Collectors rejoice! The fourth and final installment of The Who 7” singles box sets is coming. Volume 4: The Polydor Singles 1975-2015 arrives May 6th, showcasing classic hits like “Squeeze Box,” “Who Are You,” “You Better You Bet” and “Long Live Rock,” alongside tunes like an unreleased live version of “Eminence Front” and other great live B-sides. (See complete listing below.)
Previous box set releases covered the English classic rock band’s time on the Track, Brunswick and Reaction labels. The Track collection spans Top 40 hits like “I Can See For Miles” and “Magic Bus,” songs from Tommy like “Pinball Wizard” and “See Me, Feel Me” and classic rock radio staples like “Won’t Get Fooled Again” and “5:15.” The Brunswick batch is an eight-disc set including “Zoot Suit” and “I’m The Face,” which The Who recorded as the High Numbers, plus “I Can’t Explain” and “My Generation.” The five-disc Reaction offering contains “Substitute,” “Happy Jack” and rarities like the band’s “Batman” theme and “Barbara Ann” cover.
The new 15-single collection is housed in a rigid outer box complete with a 20-page color booklet featuring rare memorabilia, photos, notes and more. Each release is pressed on heavyweight vinyl with paper sleeves, reproducing the period graphics back and front, and includes a booklet with liner notes about each single and period memorabilia.

It’s been 52 years now since The Who first began gigging in 1964. Fans were understandably upset that the second U.S. leg of the band’s Hits 50! tour had to be postponed last year as Roger Daltrey recovered from a case of meningitis, but 2016 is already looking to be the perfect remedy. Tickets for the originally scheduled shows will be honored at the new dates, as the band performs a host of North American sets from the end of February through May. Performances wrap up May 29th in Las Vegas, following dates in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Toronto and more. Some tickets remain; click here to purchase.
