A tour of many popular bands of the ’80s for the 2024 U.S. and Canada summer season has made a lineup adjustment. The 22-date Totally Tubular Festival tour will include Thomas Dolby, Thompson Twins’ Tom Bailey, Men Without Hats, Bow Wow Wow, the Plimsouls, with Modern English, Wang Chung (July 16-28) and Tommy Tutone in select markets. On June 6, it was announced that the Tubes would join the lineup from June 25 – July 14, subbing for the Romantics, who needed to cancel due to “an unforeseen medical situation.” Tickets are available here.
The original tour announcement notes: Fans can look forward to singing along and dancing to live performances of chart-topping classics like “She Blinded Me With Science,” “Hold Me Now,” “I Melt With You,” “The Safety Dance,” “I Want Candy,” “867-5309/Jenny,” and “A Million Miles Away.” Each night will be a nostalgic celebration of the era that reshaped the musical landscape.
