Rickie Lee Jones will team with singer Madeleine Peyroux for a co-headlining tour of North America next March. Performances include March 4 at Town Hall in New York City and March 18 at the Luckman Fine Arts Center in Los Angeles. Tour dates are on sale now—the complete itinerary is below.

“The concept of this tour is a shared musical aesthetic,” says Jones, who has only shared the stage on a tour once before, “and the fact that we are two women who have dug and threaded our own way through a man’s world and kept true to our hearts is a powerful, shared house.”

Jones arrived on the pop scene in the late ’70s and has released 16 albums, including her latest, The Other Side of Desire. Peyroux, a singer who fuses jazz, blues and pop, has recorded several albums since her 1996 debut, the most recent being this year’s Secular Hymns.
