Eric Clapton has announced the first dates of his 2026 tour calendar with nine concerts in April and May. The performances have been revealed a few at a time and it’s anticipated that there are more to come including a mini-residence at London’s Royal Albert Hall. Tickets for these European shows are available here. “Slowhand,” who will turn 81 next March 30, had a fairly busy 2025 schedule with roughly two dozen concerts in Japan, the U.K., Europe and the U.S.

2026 marks Clapton’s 63rd year as a professional musician. The legendary guitarist joined The Yardbirds in 1963 and the following years saw him join John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers, Cream, Blind Faith, Delaney & Bonnie & Friends, and Derek and the Dominos along with a solo career spanning five+ decades.

Clapton‘s band for the 2026 tour has yet to be announced but his September 2025 U.S. dates included Nathan East (bass / vocals), Edward ‘Sonny’ Emory III (drums), Doyle Bramhall II (Guitar), Tim Carmon (Hammond / keyboards), Chris Stainton (keyboard) Sharon White (backing vocals) and Katie Kissoon (backing vocals).
