Paul McCartney has added 2019 dates to his “Freshen Up” tour. On Dec. 3, he added yet another continent, with shows in South America. The next day (Dec. 4), he revealed four U.S. stadium concerts, including a performance at Lambeau Field (aka the “Frozen Tundra” in Green Bay, Wisc., home of the Packers. (The tour began Sept. 17 in Quebec City; see the updated itinerary below.)
The tour supports the release of his Egypt Station album, which arrived Sept. 7 on Capitol Records.
[Update: McCartney has announced his first date of 2020… a big one.]
On July 5, McCartney revealed his first U.K. dates since 2015 including his first concert in Scotland in almost a decade. That followed the July 3 news when he announced his return to the concert stage with four Canadian dates, marking his first series of concerts of 2018 since the “One On One” tour that played to some two million fans in 2016 and 2017.
