Browne, Nash, Harris, Colvin Set ‘Lantern Tour’ Concerts
by Best Classic Bands StaffSeveral prominent singer-songwriters announced on July 24 The Lantern Tour, “an intimate evening of acoustic music,” to benefit migrant and refugee families. The October concerts, currently five dates, will feature Emmylou Harris, Jackson Browne, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Shawn Colvin, Lila Downs, Steve Earle and Graham Nash, though not all of the artists will be appearing at each date. Tickets go on sale this week; proceeds will go to the Women’s Refugee Commission.
From the announcement: “The concerts will feature an evening of acoustic music by legends in the music industry that will allow us all to unite our voices in song and solidarity. The Lantern Tour brings together art and advocacy to stand with families seeking safety at the U.S. border and the nightmare that has become their existence.”

Oct 27 – Boston, MA – Orpheum Theatre (Harris, Browne, Earle, Downs and special guests TBA)
Oct 28 – New York, NY – The Town Hall (Nash, Harris, Browne, Colvin, Downs and special guests TBA)
