Jazz Fest 2024 Sets Star-Studded Lineup

The Jazz Fest 2024 lineup

The organizers of the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, better known simply as Jazz Fest, have announced a star-studded lineup for the 2024 edition of the fest, which returns on April 25 – May 5.  Headlining this year’s festival are such classic rock legends as the Rolling Stones (who were previously announced), Neil Young and Crazy Horse (his first announced date of the year), Heart, Foo Fighters, Bonnie Raitt, Earth, Wind & Fire, Chris Stapleton, the Beach Boys, George Thorogood & the Destroyers.

They’ll be joined by a lengthy lineup that includes a celebration of Jimmy Buffett with the Coral Reef Band, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, the Wallflowers, the Allman Betts Band, the Nitty Gritty Dirty Band, Tower of Power, and the Robert Cray Band, as well as such contemporary stars as The Killers, Greta Van Fleet, Hozier, Anderson .Paak, and Fantasia, among its scores of artists.

The festival, held at the Fairgrounds Race Course in New Orleans, spans two weekends: April 25-28 and May 2-5. General admission tickets include access to all performances on day of use, as well as the wide variety of food and beverages available for purchase, art exhibits, crafts booths, and more. Jazz Fest always includes artists spanning a broad range of music genres among its hundreds of bands. Others booked for 2024 are Vampire Weekend, Jeffrey Osborne, Bela Fleck, Samantha Fish, Widespread Panic, Jon Batiste, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Irma Thomas, the Dirty Dozen Brass Band, the Radiators, and the Revivalists.

Started in 1970, Jazz Fest annually celebrates the unique culture of New Orleans and the region drawing fans from around the country and around the world.
