Bruce Hornsby & The Noisemakers

Bruce Hornsby has shared details of his forthcoming album, Indigo Park, along with the great title track. The album, featuring collaborations with Bonnie Raitt, the late Bob Weir and others, arrives April 3, 2026, days before he’s set to begin the first dates of a U.S. tour alongside his longtime six-piece band, The Noisemakers. The run, including a performance at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, will feature material from throughout his storied career. Tickets for Bruce Hornsby & The Noisemakers’ 2026 tour are available here.

The album is produced by Tony Berg, Will Maclellan and Hornsby, who is backed by his longtime band, the Noisemakers, as well as guitarist Blake Mills, bassist Pino Palladino and drummer Chris Dave. The record features collaborations with artists who have served as mutual inspirations throughout the many phases of his storied career: Weir, Raitt, Ezra Koenig and late Grateful Dead lyricist Robert Hunter, detailed in the track listing below. Indigo Park, via Zappo Productions/Thirty Tigers, is available to order in the U.S. here, in Canada here and in the U.K. here.

Drawing from a vast wellspring of American musical traditions, the singer, pianist, composer, bandleader and three-time GRAMMY®-winner, born Nov. 23, 1954, has built one of the most diverse, collaborative and adventurous careers in music, as he continues to expand a large and accomplished body of work through a vast array of stylistic approaches.

From the Feb. 4 album announcement: With the exception of two songs co-written with Hunter (“Alabama” and “Might As Well Be Me, Florinda”), Indigo Park finds Hornsby singing more in the first-person than he ever has. He contemplates formative moments from his past, sometimes trying to resolve them, and other times looking for clues about his current-day outlook. In the title track, the first song he wrote for the album, Hornsby looks back on a 10th grade party at the Indigo Park Pool in Williamsburg, Va., when a “great big entrance” went awry. A seemingly mundane event that now feels revelatory when filtered through the present state-of-mind.

Hornsby says, “It’s just an old bastard, looking back. To be honest, I’ve found a way, a path to grow old gracefully, with help from some newborn friends of mine.”
