Midway through the encores of Paul McCartney’s concert in Las Vegas on Friday night (June 28), he announced to the audience: “Ladies and Gentlemen… We have a special guest for you. Mr. Steven Tyler!” And just like that, two of classic rock’s biggest names came together on the T-Mobile Arena to sing the Beatles’ “Helter Skelter.”

Tyler is in Sin City for the second leg of Aerosmith’s residency at the Park Theater. McCartney is on a long and winding road of the U.S. leg of his “Freshen Up” tour, which is currently scheduled through July 13. He has a second concert on Saturday night (June 29) prior to a mini-break before the tour continues on July 6.

If McCartney has a special guest for concert #2 it won’t be Tyler or Joe Perry. Part two of Aerosmith’s residency ends Saturday.
