There was a gap between dates on his 2024 South American tour and ones in Mexico and now we know why. Paul McCartney has announced a concert in Colombia as part of the 2024 edition of his “Got Back” tour, bringing his total for the year to 23. The legendary performer turned 82 on June 18. The announcement follows the news of three stadium shows in Brazil and four concerts in Mexico that include a headlining performance at the Corona Capital Festival. They’re on top of the announcement in July of concerts in South America in October as well as performances in Paris, Madrid, Manchester and London in December. [His one public performance so far this year was at the Jimmy Buffett tribute concert held at the Hollywood Bowl on April 11.] The 2023 edition of the “Got Back” tour took place in Australia, Mexico and Brazil, spanning from October to December. Sale dates for the 2024 shows have varied for each city. [The original June 10 announcement of the first South American shows indicated that more news was “coming soon.”] General on-sale for the newest show in Costa Rica begins August 24. [Tickets for his Nov. 17 headlining date at the Corona Capital Festival are available here.] Tickets for the dates in Europe and the U.K. are available here. The South American dates are available at his website and here.
