Foreigner has announced more dates for their 2024 farewell tour. The new shows follow their co-headlining run with Styx this summer. The “Renegades & Juke Box Heroes” tour features dozens of dates, along with special guest John Waite. The 10 new concerts feature special guests Loverboy and Lita Ford.

When Foreigner originally announced their farewell tour, leader and founder, Mick Jones said, “Many years ago, I wrote a song called ‘Feels Like The First Time’ and today we are launching one last worldwide tour. We will be presenting a show that I know will have the same enthusiasm as our very first appearances. While I’m sure our fans will have mixed feelings about the end of the road for the band, I know our shows are going to delight audiences everywhere.”
Foreigner’s lead singer, Kelly Hansen, added, “As we continue on with our farewell tour, I have been very moved by the support and reaction of all of our fans. To perform these next shows with our friends Styx and John Waite makes it even better. I am so looking forward to spending many beautiful summer nights all around the country, full of great Classic Rock, music, and great friends.”

On Feb. 10, Foreigner was finally nominated for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Not long after, Jones explained his frequent absence from their performances, revealing that he is suffering from Parkinson’s disease. The Class of 2024 will be announced in May. The group scored such 1970s classic rock favorites as “I Want To Know What Love Is,” “Cold As Ice,” “Hot Blooded,” “Juke Box Hero,” “Urgent,” and more. They commenced their farewell tour on July 6, 2023.
The regular lineup is lead singer Kelly Hansen, bassist Jeff Pilson, Michael Bluestein on keyboards; guitarist Bruce Watson; Chris Frazier on drums, and guitarist Luis Maldonado.
With ten multi-platinum albums, Foreigner’s album sales now exceeding 80 million thanks to such rock and roll’s most enduring anthems that also include “Waiting For A Girl Like You,” “Head Games,” “Say You Will,” “Dirty White Boy,” and “Long, Long Way From Home.”
Styx’s lineup features James “JY” Young (lead vocals, guitars), Tommy Shaw (lead vocals, guitars), Chuck Panozzo (bass, vocals), Todd Sucherman (drums, percussion), Lawrence Gowan (lead vocals, keyboards) and Ricky Phillips (bass, guitar, vocals), and Will Evankovich (mandolin, guitars). They earned four triple platinum albums in a row: The Grand Illusion (1977), Pieces of Eight (1978), Cornerstone (1979) and Paradise Theatre (1981). Their hits include such favorites as “Lady” and “Come Sail Away.”
John Waite has a catalog of hits from his 40-year career as a solo artist, and with The Babys and Bad English. Those hits include the worldwide hit “Missing You,” plus The Babys’ “Isn’t It Time” and Bad English’s “When I See You Smile.”
Loverboy has earned four multi-platinum plaques, including the four-million-selling Get Lucky. Their string of hits includes the anthem “Working for the Weekend,” “Lovin’ Every Minute of It,” “This Could Be the Night,” “Hot Girls in Love,” “The Kid is Hot Tonite,” “Notorious” and “Turn Me Loose.”
Ford’s career began in 1975 as a founding member and guitarist of the groundbreaking all female group the Runaways. The group’s hard rock / punk edge spawned hits like “Cherry Bomb” and “Queens of Noise.” In 1983, Ford launched her career as a solo artist, recording such favorites as “Kiss Me Deadly” and her duet with Ozzy Osbourne, “Close My Eyes Forever.”

Jump into a conversationThe original Foreigner Band was awesome! One of the best Rock & Roll bands from the late 70s to mid 80s. This ladder Foreigner band doesn’t have one original member.in the line-up. Its a tribute band not Foreigner.
I believe the lead guitarist Mick Jones is still with the band and the only remaining original member.
