Fleetwood Mac have announced today (October 3) the final concert of their 2018-2019 world tour. The last show, scheduled for Nov. 16 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev., is in addition to seven previously announced North American dates that begin Oct. 28.
Those other concerts include many that were rescheduled due to Stevie Nicks’ severe case of the flu last spring. The band finished a tour of Australia and New Zealand on Sept. 21. Tickets for the new Vegas date go on sale Oct. 11. A pre-sale for Amex card holders can purchase tickets beginning Oct. 7.
Last spring, Fleetwood Mac had to postpone dates in Boston and Philadelphia “due to illness.” Once the severity of Nicks’ condition was determined, the decision was made to postpone the remaining dates of the spring leg of their tour.
Nicks was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s Class of 2019 as a solo artist on March 29.
In September 2018, following two dress rehearsals – with a nationally televised appearance on Ellen on September 5, and a brief, five-song set at the iHeartRadio music festival on Sept 21, Fleetwood Mac took the wraps off their new lineup in concert in Tulsa, Okla., when they kicked off the world tour.
At the Oct. 3, 2018, Tulsa performance, Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Christine McVie and Stevie Nicks formally introduced two new members – former Split Enz/Crowded House guitarist-vocalist Neil Finn and Heartbreakers’ guitarist Mike Campbell – who replaced longtime Mac guitarist/vocalist/songwriter/producer Lindsey Buckingham. The latter’s departure was revealed on April 9, 2018, and – despite a long history of a revolving door to the band’s lineup – was a surprise to the band’s faithful.
The band had promised to include several older songs on the tour’s setlist. At opening night at the BOK Center, the new lineup offered two dozen songs that incorporated two hits from Finn’s past as well as a Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers favorite. In addition to numerous Fleetwood Mac hits, the set reached back into its enormous catalog with several Mac classics the band hadn’t performed in decades.

For “Black Magic Woman,” written by the band’s co-founder Peter Green, and which the band reportedly hadn’t played since 1987, Nicks sang lead while Christine McVie on keyboards jammed with Campbell.
