Best Classic Bands celebrates the legend of Frank Sinatra by offering a look back at “The Voice” performing, as he describes it: “George Harrison’s hauntingly beautiful love song.” He’s referring, of course, to “Something.”
The recording was included on Sinatra’s 1980 three-record set Trilogy: Past Present Future. The studio version is classic Frank.
As Sinatra describes the song: “If you ever wanted to sing a love song for your girl, this is the song. It never says ‘I love you,’ but it says it all.”
An intersection of two of the most influential musical contributors of the rock era.

Jump into a conversationI seem to recall an earlier Sinatra performance where he credited the song to Lennon/McCartney. Nice to hear him giving full credit to Harrison.
