Limp Bizkit Postpones Tour Due to Fred Durst Health Concerns

Limp Bizkit have postponed their summer tour due to “personal health concerns” of the rap/rock band’s frontman, Fred Durst. The 2022 tour of Europe and the U.K. was scheduled to begin on Aug. 1 and continue through Sept. 12. Durst posted a video late Sunday (July 17) in which he noted he had “done some tests to make sure I’m in good physical condition and everything’s okay. And to my surprise, my doctor [told] me he would not like me to tour at this time and to stay close by to do some more tests.”

The somber-looking Durst added, “I regrettably have to tell you that we’re not gonna be able to make it at this moment, but I’m only wishing for the best and I know everything is going to be okay.” Watch the video message below.

Formed in Jacksonville in the mid-90s, the Grammy-nominated band, also described as nu metal, has sold 40 million records worldwide and has been led since its inception by Durst. Known for their powerful live performances, the band also includes original members John Otto, drums; Sam Rivers, bass, backing vocals; Wes Borland, guitars, backing vocals; and DJ Lethal, turntables, sampling, programming.
