A concert film from Pink Floyd co-founder Roger Waters is playing in theaters on October 2 and 6. Roger Waters Us + Them was filmed during his 2017 – 2018 “Us + Them” tour. Several clips are available below.

In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Waters, who turned 76 on September 6, revealed that he is already planning a summer 2020 tour, with as many as “30 or 40 gigs in North America,” including the U.S., Canada and Mexico. He described the arena tour as a “new show.” No specific dates have been announced.

The original July 10 announcement of the film describes it as a “state-of- the-art visual production” with “breath-taking sound.” The movie, distributed via Trafalgar Releasing, was filmed at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam, the Netherlands in 2018, during the European leg of his tour, which saw Waters perform to over two million people worldwide. Roger Waters Us + Them features songs from the legendary Floyd albums The Dark Side of the Moon, The Wall, Animals, and Wish You Were Here, and from his 2017 album, Is This The Life We Really Want.

Roger Waters Us + Them had its premiere at the Venice Film Festival in late summer. (Tickets for the theatrical run are available at the above link.)

The production credits list Sony Music, for whom Waters records. (Given the limited theatrical run, fans can likely expect a variety of home video and audio editions.)
