Elton John wasn’t kidding when he indicated that his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour would extend over three years. The celebration, which began September 8, 2018, now has dates through December 2020. On November 13, 2019, John added 24 North American dates for 2020. Tickets go on sale Nov. 22. The new performances are part of what he promises will be an extended goodbye, encompassing 300 dates. (Scroll down to see all the upcoming concerts.)

The performer originally announced the tour on January 24, 2018, via a live streamed press conference. Read our recap of opening night here.

The concerts typically feature 24-25 songs of the performer’s classic rock hits including such favorites as “Your Song,” “Philadelphia Freedom,” “Tiny Dancer” and “Burn Down the Mission.” One highlight has been a rollicking version of “Levon.”

At the original press conference, John said the tour will encompass as much as three years and 300 dates. He said he expects to perform on “every continent” before he calls it quits.

The Elton John biopic, Rocketman, has earned $195 million at the worldwide box-office. With $96 million in the U.S., it’s now the 4th-biggest music biopic of all-time, though it won’t achieve the lofty numbers of Bohemian Rhapsody. The latter, at $216 million in the U.S., shattered the previous record holder: Straight Outta Compton, with $161mm.
