Eagles Add ‘Hotel California’ Concert in Vegas

The Eagles – Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit, with Deacon Frey and Vince Gill – announced on June 5 a third and final date where they will perform their iconic album, Hotel California, in its entirety for the first time ever. The concerts – at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada – will be their only North American performances of 2019. Each night’s concert – September 27, September 28, and the new date on October 5 – will also include an additional set of the band’s greatest hits. The first two concerts were announced on April 2.

Eagles are in the midst of a world tour. Tickets for the October 5 performance will go on sale to the general public on June 14 here.

Hotel California is the third best-selling U.S. album in history, recently certified 26-times Platinum by the RIAA. After its release in 1976, it topped the charts and won two GRAMMY Awards for “New Kid in Town” and “Hotel California.” Several of the songs from the album have never been performed since the original “Hotel California” tour. The RIAA also certified “Their Greatest Hits 1971-1977” as the best-selling U.S. album in history (38-times Platinum).

They have won six GRAMMY® Awards, were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1998, in their first year of eligibility, and received the Kennedy Center Honors in 2016.
