Diana Ross will give what’s being billed as “a very special performance” at this year’s 61st annual Grammy Awards on Sunday, February 10. The Recording Academy will honor the icon and celebrate her greatest musical accomplishments during the broadcast, which airs on CBS at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT.

The occasion is in advance of the singing legend’s 75th birthday. Ross was born March 26, 1944.

Widely acclaimed as one of the greatest entertainers of all time, Ross has an almost countless number of big singles.

With the Supremes, Ross earned an astounding 12 #1 pop singles from 1964’s “Where Did Our Love Go” through 1969’s “Someday We’ll Be Together.” In between were such classics as “Stop! In the Name of Love,” “You Keep Me Hangin’ On,” “You Can’t Hurry Love” and “Love Child.”

Her #1 solo hits include  “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough,” “Upside Down,” “Love Hangover” and “Touch Me in the Morning.”

Ross received the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2016, the nation’s highest civilian honor. She is an Academy Award nominee (for her role as Billie Holiday in the 1972 film Lady Sings the Blues), was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the Supremes in 1988, and in 2012 received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.

Ross has a brief residency at The Wynn in Las Vegas this month. Tickets are available here and here.

Fathom Events will celebrate the star’s 75th birthday with a special two-night screening of Diana Ross: Her Life, Love and Legacy in movie theaters worldwide, premiering on her birthday. The exclusive theatrical release will feature a remastered version of Ross’ iconic Central Park concert, documented in July 1983, plus never-before-seen footage.
