New David Gilmour LP & U.S. Tour

David Gilmour - hi res album coverThe former Pink Floyd guitarist will release his fourth solo album, Rattle That Lock, on Friday, September 10, and follow it with his first North American shows in 10 years next March in Los Angeles (3/25/16), Toronto (3/31), Chicago (4/8) and New York City (4/11).  Tickets for the Gilmour concerts go on sale tomorrow (6/17), and every ticket purchased comes with a free copy of Rattle That Lock (details below).

Fans will also be able tomorrow to purchase the 10-song album’s first single, title track “Rattle That Lock,” and pre-order the album. The LP, co-produced by Gilmour and Roxy Music’s Phil Manzanera, will be available in four configurations

• Vinyl LP in gatefold sleeve. Heavyweight disc with photo inner bags, full color labels, download card, full size 16-page photo/lyric booklet including artist and album session photographs.

• CD in hard-cover bound book package with gold foil blocking on cloth spine, color CD label and 22-page photo/lyric booklet.

• Deluxe CD & DVD package CD, DVD with bonus 10 audio-visual items, four audio tracks plus the album in Surround Sound along with “Barn Jam” AV clips that include late Pink Floyd member Richard Wright’s last recorded/filmed performances, “Rattle That Lock” video, four documentary films and more, 32-page hardback lyric/photo book, 48-page book Paradise Lost (Book II) plus poster, postcard and guitar pick.

• Deluxe CD & Blu-Ray package with same extras as DVD.
