Saluting Malcolm Young…

With the death of AC/DC co-founder and rhythm guitarist, Malcolm Young, who died today (Nov. 18), his fellow classic rock stars are mourning his passing. They are led by his brother and band co-founder, Angus Young, who wrote on the band’s Facebook page:

“As his brother it is hard to express in words what he has meant to me during my life, the bond we had was unique and very special. He leaves behind an enormous legacy that will live on forever. Malcolm, job well done.”

We’ve identified tributes from many other prominent rockers to share with you…

From Joe Elliott…

Former Atlantic Records President, Jerry Greenberg, described Young to Best Classic Bands: “A big piece of the sound of AC/DC. He would set the tempo and everyone would follow. A great musician who will be missed.”
