Bruce Springsteen River TourToday’s the day (December 4th) that the Boss unveils his much-anticipated box set, The Ties That Bind: The River Collection, and he’s giving fans a special bonus – a list of 2016 North American tour dates.

Bruce Springsteen has released similar sets in the past for seminal albums like Born to Run and Darkness on the Edge of Town, but this marks the first time he’s toured specifically to coincide with the release of one of the sets.

On October 17th, Springsteen celebrated the 35th anniversary of The River – the album that earned him his first #1 spot on the Billboard Top 200 and brought us the classic song “Hungry Heart.” His new 4-CD, 3-DVD box set is packed with concert footage, unreleased outtakes and a documentary that explores his experience writing and recording the album. Springsteen’s nine-week 2016 tour with the E Street Band kicks off in Pittsburgh on January 16th, following his December 19th performance on Saturday Night Live. Fans can check out each night’s set on the rocker’s website in the form of high-quality downloads and CD releases available just days after the live performances.
